Adult sections will play in the library & Scholastic at the cafeteria.

Adult Section

OPEN: 4SS, G/60.   Title & Plaque to the top Mississippi resident. Rounds: 9:30am, 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm.
Prize Fund based on 100% of Total Open EF's + $100. (b/20: 1st - $200; 2nd - $150; 3rd - $100; Top U1600 - $50).

Entry Fee: $20.  Registration and Check-in: 8:30 – 9:20am.
USCF Rated: USCF Membership required, available at site.   Out of state players are welcome.

Top 5 overall, Top 5 Novice,

Entry Fee: $15 if mailed by January 19th, or submitted online by January 24th. $20 at Site.

Registration and Check-in: 7:30–8:45 AM. Round 1 at 9am, all other rounds ASAP. Lunch break after round 3.

Rounds & Time Control: Five (5) Round Swiss System, Game/30 minutes. (Last round Game/45).

USCF Membership required, except in the Primary and Novice sections (see below).
     Membership waived for Primary sections. All players in the Primary will receive USCF ID number at no cost.
     Novice section is not USCF Rated, membership is not required.
Novice = Beginners/Unrated players or with USCF rating of less than 400 in K-3 and less than 600 in K-5.

Chess Sets will be provided for use during the tournament. OBHS Mu Alpha Theta will sell pizza, drinks & snacks.
