USCF News
The 2003 Executive Board election is over. This was the first election to feature one member-one vote. The winners are:
Beatriz Marinello 1009 votes Tim Hanke 888 votes Don Schulz 870 votes
Sam Sloan, the rec.games.chess maverick, managed 653 votes, more than some people might have expected.
The total number of votes cast (a fraction of the overall USCF membership) shows how much one person's vote can influence the outcome.
